Automatic Heat Sealers

If you have large-scale production requirements or need to meet tight deadlines, then you might be ready to think about automatic heat sealing machines. Our automatic or continuous heat sealers provide precise seals across multiple packages—making the last seal as perfect as the first.

Heat seal machines are programmed to apply the same amount of heat and pressure every time, giving you uniform seals on thermoplastic films. Their continuous operation removes the need for manual intervention between packages, and eliminates operator error.

What is the difference between an impulse sealer and a heat sealer?

An impulse sealer is a specific type of heat sealer that uses a brief pulse of energy to generate heat for sealing, while a heat sealer is a broader term encompassing various sealing devices that use heat to create a seal.

What is an automatic constant heat sealer?

It’s a type of automatic heat sealer that provides a continuous and constant supply of heat for sealing. Unlike impulse sealers that generate heat only when the seal is being made, constant heat sealers maintain a consistent temperature, allowing for continuous sealing operations. They’re often used for sealing thicker materials that require a higher temperature or longer sealing times.

Is a vacuum seal better than a heat seal on bags?

It depends on the specific requirements and intended purpose. A vacuum seal removes air from the bag, offering potential benefits such as extended freshness and reduced risk of spoilage, while a heat seal provides a secure and airtight closure, suitable for preserving product integrity and preventing tampering.

What temperature should I heat seal my packaging?

It depends on factors such as the type of packaging material you’re using and your automatic heat sealing equipment. It’s important to follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for the best sealing temperature. Typically, heat sealing temperatures range from around 120°C to 200°C for common packaging materials like polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP).

How does an automatic heat seal machine work?

Film is fed through the sealer which then applies heat—from 80-250°C—to create a consistent, secure seal along the entire length of the film.

Uniform, highly quality seals ensure your food is packaged safely and airtight, perfect for perishable items that require tamper-evident packaging. They can be used for a range of foods including cereals, pastries, dried fruit and nuts, and more.

Do you supply automatic heat sealer parts as well?
